What SleepInTen is

A product built around three fixed design decisions. Nothing is left to interpretation.

01

Seven nightly tracks

One track per night of the week. Each is a self-contained 10-minute soundscape, built to a fixed structure.

02

Descending 72 → 48 BPM design

Every track steps through three tempos — 72, 60, and 48 beats per minute — in a fixed order. The mechanism is called Sleep Cue Conditioning™.

03

Pink-noise foundation

A calibrated pink-noise bed sits under every track. Pink noise weights lower frequencies more evenly than white noise.

The three floors of every track

A ten-minute session, in three fixed tempo blocks. Each track descends the same staircase.

Arrival
72 BPM

Where each session begins. Waking-alpha tempo. The four-note felt-piano cue plays here.

Descent
60 BPM

The middle floor. One deliberate step down from arrival tempo.

Floor
48 BPM

The last two minutes of every track. The slowest tempo of the design.

How it was made

SleepInTen was designed around a single behavioral audio principle: a repeatable cue acquires meaning through repetition. In behavioral sleep science this is called stimulus control — the same idea Pavlov demonstrated with dogs, applied here to a felt-piano motif.

Every one of the seven tracks opens with the same four-note piano cue. Nothing else in the audio changes across the week — only the surrounding textures. The repetition of that opening motif is deliberate. The mechanism has a name: Sleep Cue Conditioning™.

Seven tracks, not one, because rotation across a week prevents auditory habituation while keeping the cue constant. The same signal, delivered in seven different rooms.

The pink-noise bed is not incidental. Researchers at Northwestern University have examined pink-noise acoustic stimulation in adults over 60 as a general phenomenon in the peer-reviewed literature. SleepInTen references that body of work for context only; it is a consumer audio product and does not replicate any clinical protocol.

Frequently asked

Every track opens with the same four-note felt-piano cue and steps through three tempos — 72, 60, and 48 BPM — over a calibrated pink-noise bed. The repetition of the opening cue across the seven tracks is the mechanism. It is called Sleep Cue Conditioning™.

No. SleepInTen is mixed for open playback on a phone, tablet, or bedside speaker. Headphones work, but nothing in the design depends on stereo separation.

No. It is a one-time payment. All seven tracks and three PDF guides are downloaded once and belong to the buyer. There are no recurring charges of any kind.

SleepInTen is music and ambient sound — the same category as any audio product. It makes no medical claims and interacts with nothing. For any medical question, please consult a doctor.
